I grew up outside of Minneapolis Minnesota. From a young age, I have always had an interest in food and cooking. Whether it was making rolls with my Grandmother or creating secret recipes with my brothers to surprise my parents, I was constantly looking for new ways to create new dishes and learn more about food.
My love of cooking grew through watching cooking shows and paging through cookbook after cookbook. I graduated from Vanderbilt University and knew I wanted to attend culinary school. Within a few months, I applied to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. That is where I learned cooking technique and skills that soon landed me a job working with Giada De Laurentiis in Los Angeles California. Through working with Giada, I was introduced into food styling and how to make food look beautiful, luscious and delicious!
After being away from minnesota for more than 10 years, i have returned to be closer to family and friends and to grow my own business offering a variety of culinary services.
